The ONIP – Oral Narrative Intervention Programme

Written and evaluated by Laura Glisson as part of her Master of Philosophy at Curtin University, The ONIP is a manualised, small group intervention programme for pre-primary aged children aged 5-6 with oral narrative difficulties. 

Suitable for delivery by a speech pathologist, therapy assistant, teacher or education assistant, The ONIP uses a systematic and explicit approach to the teaching of narrative macrostructure to support oral narrative comprehension and expression skills.
